On May 13, 2025, Their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and the Duchess of Bragança, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a solemn Eucharist at the Basílica da Estrela, in Lisbon, presided over by His Eminence the Patriarch of Lisbon, Dom Rui Valério.

The ceremony was attended by the Dukes’ children: His Royal Highness, Dom Afonso, Prince of Beira; Her Highness the Infanta Dona Francisca, accompanied by her husband, Duarte de Sousa Araújo Martins, Duke of Coimbra; and His Highness the Infante Dom Dinis, Duke of Porto. Also present were numerous members of the Bragança and the Herédia families, as well as many friends who have accompanied the royal couple with much friendship over these 30 years.

The Royal Order of Santa Isabel was present with more than 50 Dames, united on this very special occasion, as well as the Real Ordem de Vila Viçosa. Also present at this commemorative moment were representatives of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, of the Ordem Equestre do Santo Sepulcro de Jerusalém and of the Ordem do Arcanjo São Miguel.

The celebration included the participation of the choir Laudate.

At the end of the Mass, the Apostolic Blessing sent by His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, addressed to the Duke and the Duchess of Bragança on the occasion of this marriage jubilee was read.

After the ceremony, a reception followed at the Convent of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, attached to the Basilica, where the Duke and the Duchess of Bragança were warmly greeted by the guests.
